The Belgian Membrane Group (BMG) is a partnership between research centers and the industry focussing on the development of membrane technology. The initiators (watercircle.be, VITO and the Center for Surface Chemistry (COK) of the University of Leuven) emphasize the importance of this separation technique for our economy.
An increasing number of companies in Flanders gets acquainted with membrane technology and gradually more full-scale applications are at hand. However, this technology is still evolving and, as is the case with every new technology, needs to overcome a certain amount of suspicion. The Belgian Membrane Group creates a forum for current and future users of membrane technology.
